I prefer to deal with executives who don't own shares. Those executives who are gifted shares by their colleagues on the Board frequently use the word " we " and phrase " fellow shareholders " ; i distrust executives who manipulate other shareholders perceptions this way. Executives are bound by their contracts and other law to do what they are supposed to be doing at their best at all times in the interest of all owners. They are way overpaid salaries to do this. Executives should not be gifted shares and options - if they want to own them they should buy them on market with their own money.
