You hope there won't be a CR without significant news such as a chip fabrication contract, but they desperately need cash, and soon, and it's very poor financial management to have allowed the company to get in this situation where the share price is circling the drain and each day increases the likely dilution to existing shareholders. Any new investors would be seeking a huge discount to the current price and the original backers (like Metals-X) are selling out. There has been no 'chatter on the street' about a capital raising even though everyone knows they need to raise. Its like the Board are using the company's solvency as leverage to keep their high-paid jobs.

There is no evidence to suggest the vultures are circling Brainchip's vulnerable IP ownership and hardware stocks. If any vultures were circling they would already have shown up on the share register but, if anything, the lack of investment from anyone but 'mums and dads' is a bad sign given how much money is being spent by some of the world's biggest chip makers on this type of IP. With Peter's blocking stake, there is no way a takeover would be successful so the only way to gain access would be to licence the IP (which no-one has) or build a large stake and seek Board representation, which no-one has. Not even a small technology fund that punts this end of the market. Not a complementary industry, like a camera manufacturer or surveillance company. No Chinese investments. Not even one single Director has ever bought stock. The only person that would have enough of a stake is Peter, so if this goes belly up then I would imagine he would bid the administrators for the IP and go back to his lab.
