I'm not expecting alot in the near term Fastha, I would expect they will commence drilling
of the gold tennement at Koongie park in the Northern Territory soon. How succesful the outcome remains to be seen. Mining at Mt Bevan as stated by Narendra Kothari will not begin until the Iron Ore price (currently $65.50) firms up somewhat. At what price NMDC has in mind that would result in a reasonably profitable mine is unknown. In the mean time the Co will continue to plan the development of Mt Bevan. See page 2-20 of the OPERATIONS REPORT from the latest annual report for more details. Asside from the above there is also still the potential for aquisitions to take place which can bring value to the company.

On a side note, the current list of top 40 shareholders no longer shows Sharon Heng anywhere. What has changed though is the amount held by DBS Vickers of Singapore from 1,800,000 to 51,983,603. So it appears as though Ms Hengs shares are now held by them. Anyone know what would be the reason for doing this?
