Can’t say I am into predicting share prices.
AEF had a very modest first quarter in terms of change in FUM.
And MFG and PTM have just reported decreasing FUM for the quarter just completed due to poor investment performance in the shabby market conditions. Can’t see AEF doing anything different.
So I am thinking AEF might have a year of consolidation given the high PE it is already trading at.
AEF has punched above it last weight in recent weeks (due to the share split? I’ll eat my words on that, I was quite negative) it certainly has a lot of supporters. One of the few stocks hitting new highs. Hopefully it will continue to receive this level interest going forward.
