Gas is largely used for peaking after the sun goes down, so daytime prices unlikely to be significantly affected unless there's a lot of wide spread cloud cover coinciding with low temperatures (heating demand).
It looks like they are all peaking plants: https://www.snowyhydro.com.au/generation/gas-diesel/
So it'll be the evening peak that suffers potentially higher prices as a result, not really helping to push up the sun time wholesale price.
