Sorry mate can't predict, but prefer looking at the facts & make a rationale decision.
So far PB2 has had several gas shows. They probably did a bit change in the last 48 hrs & when drilling commenced they must have hit another gas pocket, the exact thickness & average gas units is what they would want to know b4 updating the mkt.
I'd b interested in knowing after this arvo's ann'mnt their strategy with the Mud-Wt. With MW of 8.8 ppg, they've had about 45 ft of shows averaging 476 units of gas in the Chimney Rock formation. The gas units could have been higher, as would the chances of a gas-kick & lost time in controlling this.
Heading into the Akah formation, the shows could have gotten consistent. Should the gas shows reported this arvo b more then the higher reading of 545u (from 15th April report), then I'd b expect an increase in MW to 9 PPG, just to keep the well under control. Nothing wrong in that.
As for the depth, we should b in the Akah, past 11650' by my calcs.
