    Hi SH,
    Marathon Oil (MRO) bought privately held Paloma Partners for $767 million to get 17,000 acres in Eagle Ford.

    That worked out to be $45,000 per acre. If Santos successful fracced Amadeus, the $/acre will fly through the roof.
