Iron ore companies might be valued at a couple of dollars per tonne in the ground. Gold companies less than $100oz. Why would this be any different?
Add to that the fact that they will, like all budding miners, need to secure a mining permit. This could be when the greenies (maybe with GEMCO's blessing) get active, as the possibility of mining become that much more real. I'm sure there will be all sorts of worries about seagrass beds dugong, turtles, silt, mud etc etc. I think the market will factor these 'worries' into the share price.
But, having said that, I hope I'm wrong.
