Sally - I believe that ZFX won't extend their bid.
If you follow their game plan from the last 30 minutes of their previous bid, if they were indeed serious, they wouldn't have waiting till the 11th hour to extend their offer.
ZFX only extended their offer because of the additional 5% holdings they "acquired" (they very same 5% that are now in doubt). The offer was extended yet the offer was not increased - such that reasoning and logic suggest that if you only achieved a 0.26% acceptance at $1, the same $1 bid would not attract the remaining 99.74% - typically one would assume that to attract this outstanding majority you'd have to offer more.
ZFX are just trying to get a piece of AGM - they can't, or more specifically won't pay for the entire AGM package. They'll make do with whatever portion of AGM they can acquire in the next 2 weeks and that will be it.
That said - I do believe in the AGM tentament - however I also believe that without a ZFX offer and in the current market conditions with the current AGM announcements of poor financial dealings, the AGM sp would be in the high 50's. If/when delay announcements are issued in regards to the mill operation, AGM would be treading water at the same levels for some time.
However, this all said, for ZFX to take OWNERSHIP of the AGM tentament, that’s a different price all together. The $1 is far too low and most holders know it, hence only those looking for a mid to short term gain would take this offer.
I believe that most who were previous AGM holders and have since sold will be back once ZFX leaves and allows the AGM sp to retrace to it's actual market price. This will allow them to take the profits they made in the short term, taking advantage of a "lowball" ZFX bid and reinvesting these in AGM for a longer term investment.
My prediction - ZFX walk with 5% holding - LST will retain their 5% and then resell to ZFX a 2nd time as they have been unloading AGM stock consistently for the past 12 months and no alternative bids are imminent. AGM sp will drastically slide to 60's within 2 weeks (the start of March) and then will trade plus or minus 0.1 until news is issued of mill completion, which at this point is still an unknown.
I still hold a portion of my AGM investment and am considering selling these also in the next few days.
