Did anyone notice that small throw-away line re the new "standard" which is putting downward pressure on the sale price of tags? At least that was my impression of the statement.
And did anyone see the list of customer - driven solutions...which are currently in pre-rollout stage: and six of them claim to "prevent the theft of..."
Am I missing something - I thought all their tags could do was tell someone that the package had been tampered with. Their secure Pelican box for example is secured with a tag.
But anyone, as far as I can tell, can destroy the seal, steal the goods, and flee. But when the box reaches the next check in point, scanners can tell that the box has been tampered with; and the supply chain presumeably gets interrupted.
But nevertheless, I liked that pre -rollout phrase; must have a mou in place x 7 at least.
cheers jwt
