It's not really that, it's more the fact that any sensible person would know that it is best to support those who contribute to society and make the world a better place (ie Israel), and not those who seek to destroy it (ie Hamas, Iran etc)

How many inventions is Israel responsible for? Compare that to Palestine, Iran and other similar countries, where all they seem capable of "inventing" is war and chaos.
