I hold in both of these AVM and EQN (last 4 years) and I'm really pleased with how EQN are going but I still think AVM will catch up soon.
The basic difference despite the fact that AVM are
producing is definately the location, they are not
far away from each other as the crow flys but EQN
is in Zambia more stability than the DRC but that is
changing constantly within the DRC, there is alot of
optimism now about the DRC future with many large
players getting involved in joint ventures with est
DRC companys such as Gecamines.
I think the future is bright for both and I know Bill Turner
of AVM thinks highly of EQN as he told me so when
I asked about them 4 years ago at an AGM.
Not a coincidence that they went to TSX at the same time.
