SDL needs over $2bil in funding, sure it has a big resource but it's market capital is $1.5bil with no funding no infrastructure and a long way to go.
It's also in africa who knows what could happen over there.
GBG has funding and is ready to go. Also closer to china.
I really dont see the benefit of this merger it's not like GBG can fund the Mbalam project.
