A surface outcrop of the magnetite�]rich No.2 Zone was discovered earlier this year whilst
clearing an access track (pictured below). Trench samples were taken of this surface
exposure returning a 24 metre section averaging 38.6% Iron.
This grabbed my attention....near surface

Hey Pete - I also found this very interesting. Know nothing about the mechanics of drilling, but is it possible that due to the angle of drilling and where the holes are started, that near surface sections of mineralisation will not be detected. Also looking at the diagram of drilling at No 2 Zone, the intersects are shown, but I assume that the only way of telling the height of any mineralisation would be to drill horisontally from directly above.
Can anyone shine any light on this ?
