    Offer for Flinders iron interests from either Rio or Fortescue.

    Makes sense, coz the tenement lies between both companies holdings. So one of them will make a play for the extra iron ... and considering Flinders are about diamonds and not iron, the cash either company could come up with would be perfect for their diamond exploits.
