re: immediate development of rich gold prospects GTM's announcement just released shows the determination of management to bring its richest prospects into rapid commercial development. With the gold price bouncing after the selldown and a most attractive hedge (A$595 / oz) in place, GTM's leverage to any POG increases is most attractive.

As I posted yesterday, with Chariot processing richer ore bodies than expected, the December quarterly production figures should make satisfying reading for shareholders. With production from the Edna Beryl mine (6000 tonnes @ 30 g/t) expected as early as next month and Cat's Whiskers to follow before mid-year, GTM's revenue stream is strengthening very nicely.

I also like the extensive exploration upside on this one and feel 2004 could see a significant market reappraisal of the stock's prospects - similar to that enjoyed by Triako following its recent record production results.
