Management will be crucified if another placement is in the wind as there is no immediate need for capital. If Tiof is being fast tracked, in which I'm sure funds can wait until after this years drilling, then a placement could be justified.
A rights issue to camouflage a placement would be unacceptable also. Has anyone called Dean Richardson?
Have a feeling of a pre empting but its also in ROC's best interest to have BG on board.
Could part of an income producing ROC asset be sacrificed for an extra % or 2 in Mauritania. Doesn't seem likely as HDR have been selling off lately.

As for suggestions of a future Shell T/O offer, I also have always thought the same but Shell has good Mauritanian exposure indirectly through their 34% holding of WPL who inturn own 10% of HDR.
