Seems like a bitter pill now however we may yet be cheering the decision in the near future, consider what could be behind the latest news.
WPL have just sold 50% of Enfield for M$450, perhaps they have whispered to HDR and ROC to get their cash in order as TIOF is being fast tracked, who knows it is a distinct possibility.
Matamata could be a certainty in HDR's opinion and they wish to maintain a large percentage, much easier to do if you have some cash.
Even if these 2 possibles are incorrect Mauritania will still be a winner, you have to spend money to make money and the HDR board know all the facts we don't, so, IMHO keep your chin up.
I feel sorry for all who purchased recently, you will get it back before years end.
