According to the AFR the Genex Kidston project has ran into a bit of a snag with Energy Australia refusing to sign a long term offtake agreement. Apparently this in turn puts a fair bit of their funding at risk.
Obviously a much bigger project than our PHES but perhaps highlights the market power of the offtake provider and make the ongoing negotiation with AGL a bit more "interesting"/
