yeah,i am fully aware of that,but there is a huge difference as to why it happened over there,and is very improbable to occur here .tesco and the like were a victim of being in a dinosaur syndrome,and online discount retailers took advantage of this.then, aldi and lidle are your typical vultures,so they could smell blood,and decided to take advantage of it.aldi stores are at 11% over here,but will never get much higher,as they are not a problem for coles/wow,as they themselves expand more than aldi.but they are a threat to our local IGA stores,which is a pity-a german discount chain cashing in on the demise of our genuine aussie independent chain.
