Well if it was going well it wouldnt take this long.
If you went to the bank for a loan and it took 3 months not 3 days - its likely your terms are not as good as someone who got one in 3 days.
Doesn't mean it wont get done. Just means there is a lot of negotiation going on.
Same as when a cap raise is being done and takes longer than the 2 day trading halt period.
If the story is compelling and ppl think they will make $ they dont need that much convincing. When you are desperate and begging -they look to extract their pound of flesh.
