    it probably isn't a risk for immediate safety in those areas - but, the risks for an individual being stuck far from home are most certainly there to make life very inconvenient - and, probably somewhat exciting.

    Imagine if you were in another country or another state and air traffic stopped, as did electronic communications and transactions -

    hmmmmm - would definitely make for an interesting time -

    is that possible?? --- oh, yes, it is most certainly possible.

    We have already had global downing of air traffic - post 9/11 and we have had short term downtime of comms and financial tools - even recently in Australia

    there would be many potentials to get those to all coincide- which, to me - wouldn't be immediately a danger issue - but, imagine being in another country (and, they didn't speak your language) - with no money, no access to comms. no access to banking and no bloody idea when flights would resume

    -------- wow -- that would make for a different trip eh?
