Excellent thread; something all long term holders should read. This is the exact reason I'm in this for the long term. As far as I'm concerned, it's as guaranteed a win as you can get from a spec stock. It's now more a question of how much win.
I've guessed for some time that they've had offers on the table...it's only logical for a discovery like this. Idiotic downrampers will tell you that no one else was interested in the HRZ because Conoco passed up on it, or that no one would want to jump in as a JV with 88E yet, but you don't discover something of this size and uniquity, start proving it up / de-risking and not capture the attention of many players in the industry let alone a few looking for their next big production facility.
I agree with DW and 88E's strategy to ride this thing out and get the best value for shareholders. I believe DW and PB know what they have and, not unlike us long term holders refusing to cash out our 88E shares for some tidy profits (we know what we have, too), they have their eyes on the big time. Thankfully these two don't have the mindset of our idiotic downramping trader friends who would jump at the first offer to double their money. You don't get rich that way. You make money, but you don't get rich.
Very exciting and certainly not a share I'll be stepping out of anytime soon. Anything you pay for 88E shares between 1 and 10 cents will one day be irrelevant.
