Here are my key points from the presentation
• Production continuing over the next three months
• Resource definition prioritised
• Existing pits primed for current production
• Processing Plant work completed
• Board has personnel with strong business relationships, technical consultants and Manganese experience
• Emmanuel Project: completed RC and diamond drilling, pre-stripping and testing for extensions, Chinese been mining an operation for 50 years nearby, Chowa pit has significant opportunities to north and south and trenching has been highly attractive.
• Peco project is fast becoming the focus – large exploration licence, early exploration work underway, resource definition underway, new roads, mine site buildings and houses for employees been constructed, high grade Manganese being mined from massive reef 3 to 5 metres wide, strike distance of 3km, further opportunities to north-east and south.
• Kanano/Vaz Project: large scale exploration, main working area with a reef of 4-5metres, strike length of 8km, drilling to commence in early 2013.
• Each project has 10-20k tonnes, annualised 250k tonnes for a mine life of approximately 10 years.
• Extremely low star-tup costs
• Noble Debt Financing – significant strategic partner and big player is in early
• Sinosteel binding agreement: another strategic partner and Kaboko will be delivering into that agreement this year
• Market needs resource statement and this is being ramped up quickly
• Manganese high grade and low impurities - geoligist excited about prospectivity
Remember, KAB is AAA not CCC rated
