Sharetrader, you are not alone with your wishes, and unfortunately, the results with other companies targeting corresponding goals (neurodegenerative diseases as PD, AD, etc) have been the same. Even worse: No help for AD, PD, etc patients and also no help for antibiotic-resistant infection patients.
Now, however, it could be different because it looks that PBT2 works in antibiotic-resistant infections killing even 700.000 patients in a year. For the first time, Alterity has something valuable to sell with a worldwide patent for some 16 y. So at least now it seems that progress has been made, in fact, almost like by accident for Prana ( remember Fleming and penicillin, Nobel prize). The ownership of PBT2 had to be "negotiated" with Queensland but now that side is clear and Queensland will wait for its Nobel prize and Alterity gets the money.

1 y ago we were on 1.4 c level and now on 3.4 level, up some 140%. If this deal with a big pharma will happen ( and it will ! IMO) there will be compensation for us waiting so long. How much this compensation will be, is still open, but to me, it looks to be so big that many of us will feel happy after these too many years.
