Very comprehensive presentation, not sure how I missed it last week. If they can prove that they can convert the existing clients into paying customers - i.e at roughly $2/per employee/month, then 1PG will already be a $1bil+ company. There are already about 1 million employees with the existing clients. Unlike other tech companies where they need to build their user base to critical mass before monetising it, 1-Page will start generating revenue once each client is signed up - so it is scalable in its absolute sense. I suppose we have already achieved critical mass in sourcing employees with the acquisition of Branchout and the 820 million professional profiles.
Furthermore, once each client is signed up they will inevitably give 1-Page access to all of their employee's profiles. This is profoundly significant and will have a snowball effect in building strength for 1-Page going forward and block off other wannabes trying to copy 1-Page. The other thing that Joanna mentioned is that the access to the 820 mil profiles can never be replicated again.
Towards the end she also mentioned that currently 80% of the clients are now inbound customers. What this means is that 1-Page is starting to sell itself and no longer needs massive effort on the part of the sales team to go door knocking. This is a significant proof that the 1-Page business is in high demand and will have huge potentials going forward.
LinedIn can have a valuation of $30+ billion - why not 1-Page eventually? That's a 100 bagger from here! I find that a lot of tech start ups on the ASX are just copy cats, trying to replicate what someone has already achieved elsewhere. But 1-Page is absolutely unique in it's disruptive nature and does have high barriers to entry while it endeavors to build a position for itself on the world stage.
