Further to my comment...
He just seemed like a comfortable public servant type:
- No dynamism.
- No particular talent to stand out from the pack.
- Happy to have an easy job.
- Unlikely to go the extra mile.
If it was a job interview, you would immediately reject that type.
Just my impression. Of course, it can go the other way too - overhyped presenters. The BLT guy was just selling the story and didn't mention the two most obvious problems with biotech: long timeframes and competitors. YMMV.
