Update on the Territory’s Resources Projects
The recent $1.6 billion expenditure into planning for major resource projects highlights the continued investment in the sector. Key projects include TNG’s $850 million Mount Peake Vanadium-Titanium-Iron Mine and Verdant Minerals Ltd’s $750 million Ammaroo Phosphate Project.

Darwin Battery Storage Gigafactory Project
Scheduled to go live in 2019, the Darwin-based Gigafactory ("Renaissance One”) will be unique in its ability to manufacture customised hot and humid climate optimised lithium ion batteries for the commercial and electronic vehicle markets in Australia and South-East Asia.
