Expectations can kill.

There are so many moving parts in LIFE SCIENCE, just think of Mother Nature…While it’s nice to have trial data cut/update at conferences, major or otherwise, IMHO, our scientists don’t have control over it.

It is ok to have expectations but to throw “tantrum” is probably unwise. I didn’t cash in much at ATH, was disappointed then but not so much now to be frank and upfront. I have “learned” a bit more on investment in bio startups, both financially and emotionally, I feel and am able to handle much better despite there are fresh data cut at AACR this year. It is not end of the world yet and the sun continues to rise this morning. All in all, as said earlier, I am very satisfied with the more affirmative and reassuring tone of the wording in the announcement, if ie, the use of “control” , “a safe treatment option” , “Vaxinia efficacy “ , “warranted cohort expansion “ etc is appealing to me. There is no more maybe, or perhaps.
