Remember that the index change takes place on 30th November. From the date of the inclusion announcement Nov 10, until the 30th of November most index funds that are benchmarked to the MSCI Australian Microcap index will be buying. You will find that today’s price move will, in part, be reflecting this. I suspect we may be on the cusp of some developments as well.
