Thanks very much for posting this on what was another pretty tough day for micro caps.

It was interesting to hear both Michael Wayne's (Medallian Financial) and Andrew Page's (Strw/man) views on 3DP.

Andrew tends to be very informative on a number of micro caps, and he seems to love "the ride" that micro caps can give an investor

Andrew in particular knows a lot about the Pointerra business, and interestingly he has held 3DP since 2019, he sold his holdings (some too cheaply & some for a good price), and now he has bought back in.

These are not his exact words, but some of the points he broadly made about 3DP were:

Fascinating business.
They are genuine world leaders - albeit in a niche industry that is rapidly evolving.
The business has huge ability to scale.
They are well placed to take advantage of a structural change towards a large number of industries using a lot more 3D data.
The transition to sell a more "mainstream" product can occur rapidly - and the example he gave was ProMedicus growing extremely rapidly (when medical imaging became "mainstream" very quickly).
At around 65 x last years reported revenue (around $4m revenue for year ended 30 June 2021) , 3DP is definitely not cheap using those parameters.
But Andrew can see them reaching $50m in revenue by 2025.
Thinks the MD Ian Olsen is very down to earth, and he has operational strengths.
Also thinks Ian is very cost disciplined - not spending huge $ just to grow quickly.
ACV up over 240% in the past 12 months - so they are already growing quickly.
Overall, he think 3DP is very hard to value - but he rates them a BUY.

Was great to hear him discuss this business - as he really knows his stuff (when talking micro caps) IMO.
