    Pointerra is rapidly expanding its operations, leveraging our innovative cloud platform for 3D data across a range of asset management applications. We are looking for outstanding people to grow our customer base across a range of sectors.


    Description:

    The Director, US Business Development is responsible for sales activities in one of 3 primary industry verticals: Architecture Engineering and Consulting (AEC), Utilities, , and Surveying and Mapping/UAV. The role includes executing a sales strategy, developing specific account objectives, progressing opportunities through a sales funnel, and closing new business.


    Duties & Responsibilities:


    1. Quota Ownership – You will be responsible for identifying and closing sales and generating revenues through direct accounts to satisfy your sales targets.

    2. Business Strategy – You will also support business opportunities through pre and post-sales initiatives. You will gather market intelligence and industry trends to continue to develop an evolving competitive landscape understanding.

    3. Position’s Key Performance Indicators:

    · Value of closed sales

    · Number of customers contracted and managed

    · Amount of quota upsell on our platform to existing customers


    Experience and required skill:


    · Outstanding Mental Attitude! Great Teammate!

    · Ability to laugh and enable team and clients to laugh as well.

    · Self-Starter with Performance Based Approach Required; A Closer!

    · Minimum of 5 years’ experience related to sales, business development or product marketing in the AEC, GIS, Surveying and Mapping, or related industries.

    · Working knowledge of geospatial industry, markets and technologies.

    · Verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills.

    · Ability to juggle and prioritize multiple projects and opportunities.

    · Demonstrated sales success in the commercial marketplace.
