Yep - another brilliant interview, so thanks for posting.
Nothing really new, but Ian's confidence is clearly very high (despite the current SP)
I personally really like the section in the interview from around 2 minutes 45 seconds to around 4 minutes 40 seconds - where Ian mentioned:
- Even with all the new staff hires, he feels they have plenty of cash for the organic growth.
- With the recent contract wins, and with "some more contract wins we think we have got in the pipeline ", there is some chunky cash inflows coming in over the next few quarters.
- The bigger contracts tend to have upfront payments.
- Since listing, Pointerra have only raised around $15m AUD - so it is not a business that requires constant capital raises.
- 3DP is a capital light business that uses both AI & the affordability / scalability of cloud compute.
- This results in "super high margins".
- When the current ACV of around $14m USD becomes revenue of $15m / $20m USD, Pointerra is a very profitable business.
- There are definitely some merger and acquisition opportunities - and the focus is on bringing in great people in 3DP's target sectors (and probably in sectors other than utilities).
LATEST RAAS REPORT - On another completely different note, I know that these RAAS reports are paid for by 3DP, and that there is an awful lot of assumptions being made for future revenues / margins / earnings.
However, it was interesting to see a "small but positive" EPS figure forecast for this financial year (Year Ended 30 June 2022).
And that they were forecasting an EPS of 2.6 cents per share for Year Ended 30 June 2023.
If this forecast NPAT / EPS figure for year ended 30 June 2022 is achieved (and obviously it is currently a "big if"), then Pointerra is currently trading on a forward P/E of around 14.
I suspect the 3DP share price will be significantly higher than today - if those forecast numbers are achieved
