I said awhile ago that a collaboration with Pointfuse (scan to BIM) had dropped off quarterlies. IO had once said that perhaps the company was a potential takeover proposition (while the shares were worth a little more).
Pointfuse have just had been acquired by Autodesk, further building out their suite of tools.
Yes Pointerra plugs into Autodesk but wow it would have been nice to see the Pointfuse tech wholly owned by Pointerra as part of the higher value analytics stack (one can dream, I never thought it a viable acquisition).
Regardless, hopefully there’s some positive news out of the company soon….
