Our recent results show the high grade nature of the Cononish vein
I have just been through the figures from the drill results and if you discard the core loss and sheared holes you have 19.9m for 377.577 g/t Au for an average grade of 18.97g/t Au. So the first 3 holes where a good indication after all.If you include the 3 with core loss in vein we have measured widths for you still get 14.55 g/t Au.
The current drilling of 5 holes will not form part of the new resource model and is to serve as further confidence for RMB. The first hole is complete and the 2nd is nearing completion and the 5 holes might well be finished for the Nov 2nd group visit with a bit of luck.
As we are all aware we have a large section of our resource in the Inferred category , 311,000 tonnes @ 10.8g/t Au(10-16) for 108,000 ounces of Gold.
Bottom of Page 8 of the Annual report , the Inferred resource is estimated to contain between 100,000 oz Au and 160,000 oz Au .
I said it after the first 3 holes and I am still saying it now after the recent results, which ever one you choose, be it the 14.55 g/t Au average or the 18.97 g/t Au average. The potential for a higher grade from the Inferred resource is there. The vein can be seen from the adit ,which is why the company have continually said it in there annual reports.
Our annual production is based on an average grade of 10.2g/t Au, if there is to be an upside to the existing resource grade it will be even more profitable , each additional 1g/t Au will bring in an additional £ 2,881,172 at $ 2,000 , so far 18.97 g/t Au average from successfully completed holes.
We will be moving around 10,000 ounces from the Inferred to the Indicated and Measured category from these results, the grade will be interesting as it will let us have a better understanding of what potential there is for the rest of the Inferred resource.
