Typically that's what people do in the case of a listco that holds equity in another listco. They just go for the one they want. Eg EBAY / PYPL. Also, depends on the strategy of the holding listco - whether they want to build value as a group (long term value realisation) / have a strategy to grow and spin off ventures (shorter path to liquidity and the spun off business can drive its own agenda while still benefitting from the parent co's relationships as needed).
