My thoughts regards tanzanite/graphite is that even with new owners, albiet Tanzanians the issue of mine invasion will not dissapear easily. The local tanzanite mine owners and miners (an organised collective) are a large political influence in the area that even the main government cannot just railroad, believe me they have tried. Having been to Merelani I see what they are up to. Tunneling several hundred meters underground and into Block C (Tanzanite One Lease) to steal gems. These guys will not stop without hardline persuassion and that is not likely to be enforced any time soon because elections are on there way. Merelani is a town of 70,000 impoverished people. I only see more delays. KNL imo whilst still perusing the JV should remain focussed on its 100% assets and get them into production.
