If I thought I bought a house yet the owner decided to sell it to someone else I wouldn't be allowed to continue to threaten him with legal action until I felt it suited me to decide to take him to court to dispute the sale. Oh now the house is worth 30pc higher and I've got a partner who will finance I'll start proceedings.
That is just not kosher.
FAR should have said to the Sen govt the 60 days is up, we need your decision otherwise we will invoke an injunction on the sale. Frankly FAR knew this and COP knew they didn't have the muscle or funds to deal with it. That's why they were dismissive and moved on. It was time for FAR to have moved some time ago. This will work against them rather than for them. To save face FAR are hoping. WPL or COP will throw them a bone.
