Of course. Would you honestly annoy the govt by enforcing a clause in the contract which the govt is a party to! Even if they may not want to pursue?
That's what contracts are there for. Move to court and dispute PE with or without govt approval. Be a nice question for the govt to answer - do you think that FAR has the technical and financial capacity at the time of COP sale? Crickey they have just let the sale go through in silence or they have given approval by not rejecting sale in 60 days. Another question for them. Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeease!
I think by now you will see an even more red faced Senegal govt if this proceeded. I think we will see a withdrawal when the time is ready for FAR. Until then we think we're going to arbitration. By the way if Far do get something well and good.
