presumptions and assumptions

Howdy Everyone....I know a lot people don't like to listen to me and that is their perogative,I am entitled to my viewpoint regardless....
Presumption One...
Everyone presumes that ERM must have the numbers to launch this spill motion so they are assuming they will win(dangerous assumption that leads to complacency)
Presumption Two...
ERM have said they are not interested in a takeover,presuming they are being honest(I have no reason to doubt it)if they are successful what is to stop other investors sitting in the wings then taking bigger positions and putting pressure on ERM to go further...Again we are assuming ERM's statement in spill motion is rock solid (complacency again).
Presumption Three....
There is a lot of presuming going on that Craig Marshall took a position on salary because he knew that this was going on....Everyone is assuming (without knowing)that this was for purely selfish reasons,(maybe it is,I don't know)
but what if the reason was simply that because EGO has recently gone into production and needs more of a manager than a consultant.(worth thinking about)
Presumption Four...Everyone presumes they know what is going on and assumes it will get better,there is a lot to fight for here and don't assume Craig Marshall will give up easily.
