Operating cash cost USD558 / dry metric tonne concentrate delivered to the discharge port
Production rate - 60kt/ month
Zinc price - make it $2300/ton. Say 2 ton concentrate makes up 1 ton Zinc.
Then concentrate $1150/ton, Smelter charge $300/ton, so smelter cost on concentrate is $150/ton
Gross profit $1000-$558=$442/ton. Production rate - 60kt/ month. Anyone can work out the figure.
Even if the net profit only $100/ton, the annual pretax profit = $100X60000X12=72m.
