How could this affect shareholders?
This should be irrelevant. As people have mentioned, this isn't new information. This was from a study back in 2019 using a discontinued machine.
Especially if peer-reviewers of the paper on PREVENT trial also have this kind of an opinion on the work presented in the paper?
While I'm no expert in peer-review processes and I'm sure there's others who could talk more eloquently to this point, I think it's less about coming down to an "opinion" as you highlight, and more about the facts of what the data show. We appreciate that at the end of the day the data can go either way, however early indications are that this is pointing to a favorable outcome, certainly more favorable to the outcome referenced in the data from 2019.
