Sure, it would be great to have CNP buy back on market, or send a message that its shares are undervalued compared to the earning capacity of the entity by underwriting the price.
Only one problem... wouldnt it be insider trading?
They would have to know exactly how many shares are "owned" out there.. how many are double accounted for.. and how big the bets against are, by looking at the registry. How much actually is "borrowed" stock?
To have plunged this far, there must be some big cloudy accounting going on with the top 20 not having registered a 1% move.
You dont trade 5% of the registry a day on spec.. do you?
