One CEO I've listened to in a conference call said something along the following lines after being asked, "How do you plan to return shareholder value, do you value shareholders?" or something like that. And he responded with saying and i'm paraphrasing, "I plan to return shareholder value by successfully running this business. I will place the customers and staff in the company first, and the resulting beneficiaries from that are shareholders." I'm not saying A2 milk is or is not running their business successfully right now but you getting money in the short term and wether people decide to buy or click a sell button is irrelevant.
