I think the figure was closer to 60%. No matter 40-60 in one day is extraordinary. Unfortunately PRAN is firmly in the hands of traders, which creates unwanted noise from a fundamentals point of view - I was hoping that the noise would dissipate after HD results. This does not appear to have happened. (I do hope that a reasonable percentage of those shares went into 'safe' hands that intend holding through AD results.)

It is a pity that one can have little confidence that the SP actually reflects the market's true perspective on the value of the stock. Most of us desire benchmark feedback on our investment choices and surely the market should a prime indicator in this respect. In this case, to me, it definitely is not, as wild swings - up or down - demonstrate very little.

However, despite the best efforts of the traders - the good, the bad and the ugly - to confuse, I am just going to ignore the SP until AD results. I invested on fundamentals and since then they have not taken one backward step. In the final analysis, I do not need a manipulated market to assess my decision. The final arbiter on my investment will be the forthcoming results.
