Ugh...If you had some basic understanding of how shorting works you would know that it is much harder (especially for retail investors) to short a stock than to go long. Most retail brokers don't offer it for a start. So if you find one of the few brokers that do offer it, then you have to be able to borrow the shares which can be difficult/expensive especially in a stock like SGH. The availability and cost of this changes frequently and needs to managed in the context of your position. Finally after all this when you are ready to sell, you have to wait for an uptick in the price.
Compared that to going long and all you have to do is open any old broker account and slap down a buy order.
No offence, but your post just smacks of someone who doesn't even grasp the basics. By all means take the long side here. Just know that there are plenty of people who know far more than you who are willing to take the opposite side.
