Agree, Esperance...what a great spot. But for retirement, I want to be close to all the facilities..and great ones as well. The weather is great..if you are retired, just laze around in the backyard pool or get to the beach or do as I do, paddle on a surf ski every morning next to all the great looking athletes from the Australian Institute of Sport at Bond Uni. I'm not a yachtie but there are heaps of boating activities for all. Problem wuth Esperance for retirement, or for travelling around OZ on safari is that you'll never know when you need a hospital or doctor of your choice, or if you want to see Stevie Nicks in concert at the Gold Coast convention centre ( this February ), it's just a drive around the corner for me..etc etc
