For green hydrogen, it strongly depends on the electricity price. Europe will probably import most of the hydrogen in the future. It might be brought by carriers or by pipelines from neighbouring regions. Taking into account the electricity price and the limited availability of renewables in Europe, it's economical to pay for the additional transport instead trying to produce all hydrogen locally.
