Hi Hopeful,
I don't think it's so odd that the Oz goldies are not close to their highs even though gold is. The Oz goldies made their highs when there was a major correction happening in the broader market and and a serious rotation into 'risk off' assets. At the moment we only have people buying goldies because the GP is high. If we have a risk off event in the rest of the market, well things could get pretty interesting indeed.
