I think you left out another biggie. The $35Trillion of debt swimming around. That's probably an underlying driver for maintaining the high gold price. The more the Fed pumps into the system, the higher stocks go but the less confidence remains as price bifurcates from fundamentals. The air up there is getting thinner and thinner.
